Protects the day, not just the trade

A stop-loss closes one position. A daily loss limit stops new trades for the rest of the day.

Tilt can’t place an order

After a big loss there are no more trades today, so there’s nothing to chase.

Back to work at the reset

Limits reset every day. Your strategy picks up again at the next reset, automatically or when you say so.

Set them once for the whole account, for each strategy, or both. When a limit is reached, new trades stop. Open trades keep their stop-loss and take-profit.
