Order safeguards
No more “Invalid volume” or lost trades on MT5
A good signal is wasted if your broker rejects the order, or a trade goes missing when your terminal disconnects. Vectorhelm fits every order to your broker’s rules and keeps your trade history complete.

Every order fits your broker’s rules
Before an order is sent, it’s checked against that symbol’s rules at your broker.
| Broker rule | What Vectorhelm does |
|---|---|
| Lot step | Rounds the lot size to the broker’s step |
| Maximum order size | Splits a larger order into parts |
| Filling type | Uses the filling type the symbol allows |
| Minimum stop distance | Places stops outside it |
No more “Invalid volume”, “Invalid stops” or “Unsupported filling mode” errors.
Your trades stay protected
Your take-profit stays in place
Every position always carries its take-profit. If one goes missing or wrong at the broker, Vectorhelm restores it automatically.
Nothing lost when MT5 disconnects
Take-profits sit at your broker, so they keep working while your terminal is offline. When the terminal reconnects, every trade the broker executed in the meantime is recovered at once. Nothing goes missing from the record.
Everything is logged
Every event logged
The activity log records every limit reached, every resume, every settings change and every connection drop, with who did it and when.
What your broker can still refuse
A broker can still refuse an order for its own reasons: not enough margin, a closed market, or trading disabled on the account. Vectorhelm can’t prevent those. It reports each one with the broker’s own reason, in your signal history and activity log.
Frequently asked questions
Broker rules, take-profits, disconnects, and what a broker can still refuse.
Why do automated trades fail with Invalid volume or Invalid stops?
Each broker sets a lot step, a maximum order size, allowed filling types and a minimum stop distance for every symbol. An order that breaks one is rejected. Vectorhelm checks every order against those rules before sending it.
Will Vectorhelm change my stop loss?
Only if it’s closer to the price than your broker allows. Then it’s placed just outside the broker’s minimum distance, so the order is accepted.
What happens to an order bigger than my broker’s maximum?
It’s split into parts, each within the maximum.
What if my MT5 terminal disconnects?
Take-profits stay at your broker and keep working. When the terminal reconnects, trades the broker executed meanwhile are recovered, and the drop is recorded in the activity log.
Can my broker still reject an order?
Yes — for not enough margin, a closed market, or trading disabled on the account. You’ll see each one with the broker’s own reason.
