Stop a bad day before it becomes a bad month
Set a daily loss limit and a drawdown limit for your whole account, or for each strategy. When one is hit, no new trades open — your stop-losses and take-profits keep working.

When a limit is hit
New trades stop
Trades already open keep their stop-loss and take-profit.
You decide about open trades
Keep them running, or close them all at once.
You see exactly why
The account or strategy shows which limit was hit and when. Everything is saved in the activity log.
Back to trading when you choose
Automatically at the next daily reset, or manually. Raise the limit and trading resumes right away if you’re within it again.
You’re always in control. Only a limit you set can stop your trading — Vectorhelm never pauses a strategy on its own.
Built for prop firm challenges
Resets on your firm’s clock
Prop firms start a new trading day at their own time. Set the same timezone and time, and your daily limits reset with your firm — daylight saving included.

Set your limit below the firm’s
Your daily loss limit counts closed trades. Many prop firms also count open losses. So set yours a little below the firm’s, and add a drawdown limit — it’s based on equity, so open trades count too.
Frequently asked questions
Account and strategy limits, prop firm rules, and what happens when a limit is hit.
Will Vectorhelm stop me breaking my prop firm’s daily loss rule?
It stops new trades when your limit is hit. Your daily loss limit counts closed trades, but many firms also count open losses — so set yours below the firm’s and add an account drawdown limit, which counts open trades too.
Can I match my prop firm’s daily reset time?
Yes. Pick a timezone and a time, and your daily limits reset then. Daylight saving is handled.
What happens to my open trades when a limit is hit?
You decide: keep them open with their stops and targets, or close them all. New trades stop either way.
Can I set limits as a percentage?
Yes. Loss and drawdown limits can be an amount or a percentage of your start-of-day balance or equity.
Can I change a limit after trading has stopped?
Yes. Raise it and trading resumes at once if the account is back within it. Lower it and it applies immediately.
Can Vectorhelm stop my strategy on its own?
No. Only a limit you set can stop your trading.
